Artist Bio
Bill is a relatively new resident of Parke County and lives in a lakeside home on the Rocky Fork Lake. He is proud to belong to the Covered Bridge Art Association and is one of the newer members displaying his works at the Rockville gallery.
A recently retired US Steel engineer currently working as a project management consultant, Bill worked with palette knife and brush on still life and landscape studies in oil but switched to the challenge and unpredictability of watercolors in the late 80s. He studied watercolor techniques under Tom Lynch, Mike Cqpser, and Nita Engle and has won first and second place awards in recent exhibitions. His most recent achievement is a first place in a Wilkins Mill Bed and Breakfast.
Bill is dedicated to bringing the stature and respect to the watercolor media that it deserves.
